Creamy Buckwheat Groats & Stewed apple

Steps

  1. Wash the buckwheat groats until the water runs clear.

  2. Place groats with water in a large bowel cover and soak overnight

  3. Add the milk to the porridge and any other ingredients such as nuts

  4. Boil for 10-15 minutes until thick and creamy.

  5. Add milk to taste and maple syrup to taste

  6. Chope apples and place in saucepan with some water until they become brown and carmelised. 

  7. Serve porridge hot with stewed apples on top.


How to make

Ingredients

2 cups of buckwheat groats

6 x cups of water

2 x cups of oat milk

Pinch of salt

Maple syrup to taste

Optional: 

Chopped Almonds


Topping 

2 x large apples 

Yoghurt
