Immune Boosting Vegetable Broth

Steps

  1. Place the sliced cabbage into a large pot or slow cooker

  2. Quater the carrots and mushrooms and add them to the pot

  3. Peel and bruise the garlic and add to the pot

  4. Roughly chop the piece of ginger and add

  5. Add the coconut oil, tumeric , black pepper and salt

  6. Cover the vegetables with the water and put on high in slow cooker or bring to boil in pot

  7. Turn down heat and let simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours

  8. Allow to cool and add in optional miso paste if using.

  9. Strain it and serve

  10. It will store in freezeer in small pots for months to add to different dishes

Ingredients

4 carrots

4 gloves of garlic

6 mushrooms ( any kind )

Piece of ginger

2 x cups of chopped cabbage

1 tsp of tumeric

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

1 piece of ginger

Salt and black pepper

8 cups of filtered water


Optional

Miso paste
